About the role

Reporting to the Site Systems Specialist the Site Systems Administrator role will join the on-site Engineering Department. This role will see you provide administration support to ensure the success of the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), Site Training Scheme, Mine Operating System (MOS) and the site document management system.

If successful in this role, you will be provided with opportunities to interact with all levels of the organisation, as well as being given a broad exposure to mine site operations, disciplines and stakeholders.

This exciting opportunity is being offered on FIFO basis with a roster of 4/2/4/4 (Tuesday to Friday, Monday to Thursday). To be eligible to FIFO from Brisbane you must reside within 100km of Brisbane Airport.

 Your responsibilities

•  Support operations in the execution of their obligations under the SHMS through the administration of associated processes.

•  Provide assistance to the Engineering officer by supporting document management activities in their absence.

•  • Support the site’s training scheme through the provision of timely governance advice to trainer assessors and leaders.

•  Ensure data integrity to support the Governance and compliance requirements of the SHMS

•  Support the drive for continuous improvement of the SHMS, MOS and Site Training Program.

About you

Ideally you will have operational experience within a coal mining environment or a background in safety, business improvement or law together with the appropriate and relevant qualifications. Your strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work with complicated technical information are essential. An understanding of risk management and demonstrated experience with large data Management Systems will ensure your success in this role.
