Job Summary :

Responsible for planning, executing and interpreting data for Deepwater Logging while drilling and wireline operations


Responsible for executing and interpreting wireline formation pressure testing and reservoir fluid sampling operations

  • Provide operational and interpretation exercise for advanced logging operations such as dipole sonic logging, nuclear magnetic resonance, and cased hole/production logs
  • Provide interpretation expertise of LWD and wireline imaging logs and perform resistivity modeling using advanced software
  • Responsible for planning, executing and providing interpretation expertise to coring operations
  • Work closely with multidiscipline team to ensure that adequate and timely data acquisition, planning and preparation are in place prior to well drilling
  • Provide subsurface operational support before, after and during drilling a well in order to find hydrocarbon economically
  • Responsible for providing integrated petrophysical evaluation of key wells using wireline log data, LWD, core data and formation pressures
  • Present results of petrophysical interpretation directly to development teams, management and external partners and assure that results are properly incorporated into their models and interpretations
  • Perform regional studies to support exploration and development teams for identifying hydrocarbon plays
  • Ensure that data and reports are properly captured in company archives and databases

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geoscience + 3 years of petrophysical interpretation, deepwater logging and wireline operation experience at a major oil company operator or service company.
