Job title: Community Development Training Program
Location: Australia – Queensland
Opportunities are now open for youths from the local Blackwater, Comet, Bluff and Dingo community to participate in BMA’sCommunity Development Training Program. The successful applicants will be based at BMA’s Blackwater Mine Site.
The program will commence with inductions and defensive driving, followed by simulator and basic training. You will then have the opportunity to begin Haul Truck operator training under the supervision of our experienced work place Trainers. Training will include the full induction process and an opportunity to obtain the relevant competencies within Conduct Truck Operations.
This is a fixed term four (4) month placement and the Program will commence in August 2015.

The following criteria must be met to be considered for this program:
You must be between 17 and 20 years of age on the day you start the Program
You must be a local to the Blackwater, Comet, Bluff or Dingo community
You must hold a current Provisional or Open Australian Driver’s Licence (manual preferred)
You must have access to your own accommodation in Blackwater for the duration of the program
Successful candidates will commence on day shift before moving to a shift roster with a crew.
