Job description

• Has achieved a broad base of technological expertise within the Facilities Engineering Function.  Consistently applies these principles and theories in areas of responsibility.

• Proven ability to effectively apply Project Management (CPDEP), Management of Change (MOC), Scheduling and cost control. Proven knowledge of Operations Assurance, Process Safety and Decision Quality processes.

• Utilizes knowledge from several disciplines within the Facilities Engineering Function as well as other functions (i.e., Operations, Subsurface, HES, and Business Development, etc.) to solve more complex business issues.

• Well developed project management skills for complex projects. Applies general knowledge of all phases of CPDEP including front-end loading and project execution.

• Responsible for multiple projects of small, moderate size and complexity (or single larger project of moderate complexity). Proven ability to direct multi-functional teams to achieve business results.

• Capable of working and communicating with multifunctional teams. Work involves a high degree of coordination with operational and technical peers, and also includes cross-functional work (economics, DA, HES, IT, etc.). Lead, align or establish strong team work to tackle many of chronic or ongoing issues. Seek out opportunities with stakeholders and prepare stakeholders engagement plan to gain supports; improve relationship and teamwork In order to achieve results.

• Demonstrate OE Leadership and has good performance in achieving OEHES targets. Experience with formal processes to assess safety and environmental risks, and then implement solutions.

• Performs engineering calculations and economic analysis on Medium and more complex systems.

• Proceeds independently on own initiative and judgment and sets own schedule, specific objectives and priorities.

• Designs, constructs and modifies more complex systems of equipment e.g. offshore platform centrifugal compressors, horizontal production pumps or vertical seawater lift pumps, multiphase pumps, gas turbines, mechanical seal systems for equipment compressing/pumping gases/ liquids containing  hydrogen sulfide, gas turbine drivers, gas engine drivers, etc.

• Monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot rotating equipment systems including parallel pumping systems.

• Demonstrates a basic understanding of related disciplines, including some knowledge of process and electrical engineering fundamentals, fixed equipment, materials and corrosion issues, instrumentation applications, etc.

• Establishes critical path for equipment work on a shutdown.  Collaborates with Operations to ensure new equipment is consistent with start-up expectations including fit for service in new operating conditions.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Thai National with strong english reading and writing skills

• Bachelor of Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree (Master’s Preferred)

• 10+ years Oil and Gas experiences with emphasis in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (Offshore related experiences are preferred)

• Experienced in project management and coordinator roles

• Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
