ExxonMobil Earns $19.7 Billion in 2017; $8.4 Billion in Fourth Quarter

Compliance with the provisions of the Nigerian Content Act is not only a legal and moral obligation for operating and servicing oil and gas companies but also a good strategy for improving profitability and sustainability of operations, the Managing Director of ExxonMobil Nigeria, Mr. Paul McGrath has said.

He spoke on recently in Lagos when he received the management of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), led by the Executive Secretary, Engr. Simbi Wabote.

He promised that ExxonMobil will collaborate with the Board to achieve its mandate, assuring that “together we can transform things.”

Admitting that the company had defaulted in complying with some provisions of the Act in the past, McGrath who was appointed in March 2017 assured that the oil giant would henceforth comply with all provisions of the Act alongside associated regulations.
