Lagos, Nigeria – Blackgold Authorities, an oil and gas consulting and advisory firm, has launched a CNG Career and Business Opportunities Masterclass Series in support of the Nigerian Decade of the Gas.
On 29 March 2021, Nigeria’s President Buhari announced “The Decade of Gas”, an initiative designed to ensure that Nigeria takes advantage of the global energy transition to positioning the country towards a gas-powered economy by 2030.
Dr Oladunni Owo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blackgold Authorities commented: “The energy world is transiting from the usage of dirty fuel to clean fuel in line with the sustainable development goals, and the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been identified as a fast-growing alternative for the fossil fuel. The Federal government of Nigeria through the Ministry of Petroleum Resources declared the decade 2021- 2030 as the decade of Gas, hence our commitment to educating Nigerians on the business opportunities around the CNG market both for start-ups and scale-up, for MSME and large corporate organisations.”
This two-day instructor led virtual masterclass will focus on the fundamentals of CNG business with training courses that will provide more information on the current career and business opportunities around Compressed Natural Gas especially as a fuel of choice for vehicles in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Practice exercises and self-assessment quizzes are included to help reinforce key topics introduced throughout the course.
