Abuja – The Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) has officially announced that it has partnered with Africa Oil & Power to organize the Africa Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO) Cape VII conference and ministerial meeting. This prestigious event will be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, in March 2019.

Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea H.E. Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima said: “Africa Oil & Power organizes the finest conferences in the petroleum business, and we are proud to partner with them for this APPO Cape VII event. Equatorial Guinea has a distinguished track record as a host country for events of continental importance, and this APPO meeting will be momentous. We look forward to a great event with Africa Oil & Power.”

The MMH has assembled an in-country organizing committee to coordinate activities. H.E. the Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons will be the chair of this committee, assisted by vice chairman Santiago Eneme Nzuga, Secretary of State for Mines and Hydrocarbons at the MMH. Equatorial Guinea’s APPO representative will be Diosdado Engono.

The MMH is proud to work with the APPO Secretariat and Africa Oil & Power to organize and coordinate the Cape VII conference and ministerial meeting, and looks forward to welcoming African petroleum ministers to Malabo.
